Mission
Operation Phoenix Rising exists to empower Veterans and their families by serving as a trusted guide through the often-overwhelming process of navigating VA claims, healthcare, and community reintegration. Founded by a disabled Army medic who saw firsthand how many Veterans struggle with retaining purpose and obtaining support after service, our mission is to rise with those we serve—offering clear, compassionate, expert support every step of the way.
Vision
To be the leading Veteran-run organization for claims assistance, healthcare advocacy, and vocational rehabilitation—ensuring no Veteran is left behind in the systems built to support them. We envision a future where every Veteran, regardless of status, disability rating, or background, has access to the benefits, services, and respect they deserve.
Values
🔸 Integrity
We lead with truth. Veterans deserve clarity—not red tape, double talk, or dismissive bureaucracy. We provide transparent, honest guidance at every turn.
🔸 Compassion
Our founder’s experience as a medic, both in and out of service, taught her to treat every situation with empathy. We understand that no two Veterans have the same path—and no one should be treated like a number.
🔸 Excellence
We hold ourselves to the highest standards. Our staff includes certified social workers, rehabilitation counselors, and VA-trained advocates who stay current with VA policy so you receive the best possible support.
🔸 Advocacy
We don't just assist—we fight for what's right. We represent and elevate the voices of Veterans navigating a complex system, providing not only services, but strength.
🔸 Community
Reintegration takes more than paperwork—it takes people. We’re building a Veteran-centered community of trust, resources, and shared strength so no one feels alone in their journey home.
Whether it's your first time applying for benefits or you’re feeling lost in a maze of paperwork, we help Veterans rise from confusion to confidence—because you’ve earned more than frustration.
About Us
About Our Founder
Morgan Wells, MRC, CRC
Founder & Director, Operation Phoenix Rising
Morgan Wells is a proud U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a medic she dedicated herself to the care and recovery of fellow service members. After completing her military service, she continued her mission of helping others—first as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), then as a Social Services Coordinator for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where she supported incarcerated individuals with reentry and rehabilitation planning.
Her dedication to serving the Veteran population led her to the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she worked as both a Veteran Service Representative and a Rating Service Representative, gaining critical insight into the complexities of the VA claims and benefits system.
Morgan is a graduate of the VA’s Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment Program and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling. As a Rehabilitation Counselor, she is deeply committed to empowering Veterans through personalized, informed advocacy.
She remains an active and responsive leader in the Veteran community, blending firsthand experience, professional expertise, and relentless compassion to help others reclaim their mission.
